Meet Our Band

Dave Underwood
Lead Vocals, Guitar

I'm married to a wonderful wife of 13 yrs and have 3 children. God has richly blessed me even though I've failed Him many times. I'm not perfect nor claim to be. I am 40 yrs. old and I sing in E.W. as well as play keyboards and a little guitar from time to time. I was the former Bass player but have passed that on to my band partner Scott. I have horses and love to ride. I'm also involved in my church's P&W team. I'm just a person trying to make it. God is Great!!

About Us

In 2002 David Underwood asked God for guidance as to what he should name a new Christian rock band. God showed him a vision of the beautiful and pure Garden of Eden, and based on that vision God drew together the appointed musicians to form the ministry of Eden's Way. The band members feel that God choose them for the band and not the other way around, as per John 15:16: "You didn't choose me, I chose you... I appointed you to go and produce fruit that will last." Since forming in 2002, Eden's Way have honed their music by playing dozens of shows throughout the southeast U.S. and have independently released three full-length studio albums - a self-titled debut "Eden's Way" © 2003, a sophomore follow-up called "4-4-1" (Four For One) © 2004, and the band has just completed their third CD, "Rock Solid" © 2006.

Eden's Way portrays in their own lives and in their music a message of love, peace, and salvation through Jesus Christ. The music of Eden's Way tends toward an arena-rock sound, featuring radio-sensible compositional elements, highly polished studio production values, and solid performances that showcase vocal and lead guitar capabilities. The band's sound has been compared to that of Petra, Whitecross, and Stryper. The lyrics of Eden's Way are the heart of the band's mission, however, as every song aims to touch the listener with biblical messages. The band does not seek to draw the attention of its audience to themselves; rather they seek to direct attention to God in Christ. The band in its current form will continue to follow the call of God to write, record, and perform their music so long as He calls them to do so, and Eden's Way hopes to share with all who will listen the blessings they have received via their music.
